Kingisepp customs officers carried out the improvement of war memorials

In anticipation of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the great Patriotic war by tradition Kingisepp customs for a memorial to soldiers killed in the defense of Kingisepp of land from the German invaders.

On 28 and 30 April, customs officials put things in order at the monument to the soldiers of the 266-th separate machine-gun artillery battalion, in the area where you’ll exhibit divisional gun ZIS-3, as well as at the memorial stone to the militia regiment of Narva work. The work performed for improvement: the cleaning of the memorial from foliage, twigs, debris, paint guns and fences.

Customs officers laid wreaths to the monuments.

Reference: in connection with the introduction of restrictive measures to combat the spread of coronavirus infection in the Russian Federation, public events are arranged, but the necessary work of cleaning and upgrading the memorial sites are conducted in compliance with safety regulations to prevent its spread. All officials worked in the PPE.
