Nearly 80 kilograms of cosmetics was trying to smuggle into the territory of the Eurasian economic Union international driver of the passenger bus, EN route from Estonia to St. Petersburg through multilateral automobile checkpoint Ivangorod.
In the course of customs control together with the Border Department of the FSB of Russia it was found that under the driver’s seat, in his hand baggage in the Luggage compartments of the vehicle compartment for driver’s rest and even in the apparatus for making hot drinks, the product is transported with a cover-up.
80 pounds of funds for cosmetic peeling, almost three thousand bottles reached Saint-Petersburg. The driver explained that no relation to the moved goods has not. Just agreed to carry it on the territory of Russia and to transfer at.
The goods transported through the customs border of the Eurasian economic Union are subject to customs control. Concealment of goods from customs control by use of hiding places or other ways complicating detection, or by giving to one goods of a kind other when moving them across the customs border of the Eurasian economic Union constitutes an administrative offence responsibility for which is provided by part two of article 16.1 of the Russian code of administrative offences.
On this fact the Kingisepp customs office carried out the necessary procedural steps.
