Kingisepp customs: in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, a number of events

By order of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 635-R dated March 16, 2020 from March 18 to may 1, 2020, temporarily restricted entry to the Russian Federation foreign citizens and persons without citizenship, including arriving from the territory of the Republic of Belarus and citizens of the Republic of Belarus. A day earlier, Estonia has imposed a ban on the entry of foreigners.

– Estonian border is not closed, but did show a significant decline of passenger traffic, – has noted the chief of Department of customs registration and customs control of the customs post MAPP Ivangorod Eugene Kupreev.

In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in the Kingisepp customs conducted a number of activities. Set up operational staff to ensure preventive preventive measures in connection with threat of the spread of coronavirus infection.

– All officials of the customs post MAPP Ivangorod provided with personal protective equipment. At the end of shift, provided remote temperature measurement at every official post, – said the head of the customs post MAPP Ivangorod Edward Pronkin.

24 March 2020, officials of the customs post MAPP Ivangorod participated in the joint special tactical exercises on the prevention of penetration on the territory of the Russian Federation and the spread of dangerous viral infections. The event, organized by the territorial Department of Rospotrebnadzor in the Leningrad region in the Vyborg and Kingisepp districts with representatives of the Border Department of the FSB of Russia in Leningrad region, local ambulance Department.

The terms of exercise, one of the arriving passengers, after inspection by the staff of the CPS, were infected. Thanks to the coordinated work of the staff of all services involved in the exercise not only managed to isolate “the patient”, but also to carry out passport and customs control of all passengers travelling in the same car, and hold sanitation vehicles and facilities, which held control. All passengers were given orders for further submission at the place of residence.
