Kingisepp customs: about prolongation of term of temporary import of vehicles for personal use and other terms

The Kingisepp customs office informs that in accordance with the Decision of the Eurasian economic Commission dated April 29, 2020 No. 47, “amending certain terms of the importation of goods for personal use” in connection with the current situation related to the adoption of measures aimed at warning and preventing the spread of coronavirus infections 2019-nCoV, the inability for individuals to exercise their rights and perform duties in accordance with governing customs legal relations in the international treaties and acts constituting the right of the Eurasian economic Union extended to 30 September 2020 following deadlines if these terms expire during the period from March 1, 2020 September 30, 2020:

– the term of temporary import of vehicles for personal use (1 year) (TSLP);

– date of termination of the obligation to pay customs duties and taxes if a temporarily imported TSLP export is carried out not later than 6 months from the date of expiry of period of temporary importation TSLP;

In addition, from 1 March 2020 30 September 2020 is suspended during the period (18 months) in which import of goods for personal use into the customs territory of the Union from the country of previous residence is within 18 months from the date of issue of the document confirming the recognition of foreign individuals to move to permanent residence.
