Irkutsk customs in January 2020, according to the results of post-control assessed 102,7 million rubles of customs payments

By results of carrying out customs inspections within the framework of the post-control carried out by customs in Irkutsk in January 2020, the amount of the economic damage amounted to 102,7 million rubles was initiated 15 cases of administrative offences.

For example, in January of this year the Department of customs control after release of goods Irkutsk customs was conducted cameral customs inspection on the reliability of the information stated in the customs Declaration, calculation and completeness of payment of the utilization fees for imported goods from China front shovel loader.

In the course of the audit firm – the owner of the goods, agreeing with the arguments of the customs officers, on a voluntary basis in full volume paid the recycling fee in the amount of 776,3 thousand rubles.

The transfer of the customs control from the stage of Declaration of goods at the stage of control after release of goods (post-control) significantly accelerates the performance of customs operations and improves the efficiency of customs control. The main task is to prevent economic damage to the state.

The chief of Department of customs control after release of goods Matrohina Tatiana explains: “currently, the customs law provides for the selectivity of time of application of separate forms of customs control before or after the release of the goods. Post-control allows you to speed up and simplify customs clearance of goods, which positively affects the foreign economic activities of bona fide participants of foreign economic activity”.
