In the Omsk customs held a working meeting on creation in Omsk of the special economic zone of industrial-production type “vanguard” (SEZ “vanguard”) and the organization of the use on its territory of the customs procedure of free customs zone.

The meeting was attended by chief of Omsk customs Sergey Zinchenko, Deputy head of customs, Oleg Zhuravlev, the adviser of the Governor of the Omsk region Natalia Kokarev, Deputy Minister of economy of Omsk region Denis Kouchner, head of the Department of state support of investment activities of the investment Department of the Ministry of economy of the Omsk region, the General Director of JSC “SEZ “avant-garde” Victor Sobolev.

The meeting discussed the issues of land formed by the SEZ “avant-garde”, which assumes the use of the customs procedure of free customs zone, the requirement for customs infrastructure of SEZ “vanguard”.

The meeting decided to establish a working group for preparation of materials and documents related to the application of the customs procedure of free customs zone in the SEZ PPT “avant-garde”.

The residents of the special economic zone are exempt from import and export customs duties and VAT. This allows advantageously placed in the SEZ for high-tech enterprise with imported equipment and components.
