In Bashkortostan customs discussed the introduction of labeling of drugs
In Bashkortostan customs held a meeting of the territorial Departments of the Rospotrebnadzor, Roszdravnadzor, the Ministry of internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus on the issues of development of the measures to be taken by departments in identifying the turnover of the Republic of unmarked goods imported into the country in violation of the requirements of the Russian legislation.
From 1 July 2020 year in Russia begins to act, the mandatory labelling of footwear, pharmaceuticals and tobacco products. The marking is intended to protect consumers from fraud, to improve collection of tax and customs payments.
− The system of marking of goods with identification means in the Russian Federation implemented in the framework of the decisions of the President and the Government of the Russian Federation as a tool to counter illegal turnover of industrial products, − says head of Department of customs control after release of goods of Bashkortostan customs Ruslan Metelev. The project started in 2016, marking of products made of natural fur.
According to Ruslan Meteleva, in the identification of the customs authority of the goods without labeling foreign production officials will hold events to clarify the circumstances of the importation and payment of customs payments. In the case of goods of domestic origin customs control is expected to be sent to the Office of Rospotrebnadzor for the adoption of measures on attraction of guilty persons to administrative liability under parts 2 and 4 of article 15.12 of the code of administrative offences of the Russian Federation. If the price of unlabelled products is large, the question arises about the presence of signs of a crime, responsibility for which is stipulated by article 171.1 of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation.
For the record: it also assumes the introduction of mandatory labelling of October 1, 2020 cameras (except movie cameras), flashlights and lamps-flashes, perfumes and toilet water; 1 Nov 2020 – tires; 1 January 2021 – individual items of light industry products.
