In 2019, mobile groups of STU returned to Kazakhstan more than 41 thousand tons of imported goods

In 2019 mobile groups of the Altai, Novosibirsk and Omsk customs returned to the Republic of Kazakhstan about 41.4 thousand tons of goods imported to the Russian Federation with violation of requirements of Russian legislation, which exceeded the same indicator of the previous year by almost 50% (in 2018 27.7 thousand tons).
Basically the item is returned goods included vegetable products (vegetables, fruits) and animal (meat, dairy products, fish) origin, as well as consumer goods (clothes, shoes, etc.).
Just 2019, mobile groups of STU stopped and checked more than 23 thousand vehicles. The result revealed more than 44.7 thousand tons of products with violations. On the facts of revealed violations filed 246 cases of administrative offenses and 33 criminal cases.
Detained 29 parties “sanctioned” goods (apples, pears, and chicken legs) weighing more than 170 tons that were destroyed by the officials of the Rosselkhoznadzor.
In the result of the work of the mobile teams revealed more than 475 thousand units of counterfeit products. Held 17 customs inspections, initiated 15 criminal cases under part 1 of article 180 of the criminal code.
In addition, mobile teams of STU stopped and checked 2 391 vehicle transporting timber and lumber with a view to their exportation from the territory of the Russian Federation. Violations of the current legislation identified in 142 cases (including Altai customs office – 75, Novosibirsk customs – 37, Omsk customs – 30). Total weight of timber and lumber in respect of which revealed violations amounted to 2 680,62 tons, volume – 3 m3 990,97.
