Illegal alcohol and cigarettes seized customs officers at the point of Yekaterinburg

RAID in a retail distribution point of the Ekaterinburg customs officers carried out together with employees of Department on execution of administrative legislation UMVD of Russia in city of Ekaterinburg.

During the inspection the premises discovered 164 units of alcoholic products of different fortress: beer, vodka, cognac, ethyl alcohol 95%. These products have either not had Russian excise stamps, either at point of sale there was no license for their sale. In addition, customs officers and police found 23 packs of tobacco products of dubious production.

“Since the beginning of year in Ekaterinburg already conducted three such tests. In the first two cases in retail outlets have implemented tobacco products, not marked with excise stamps. Five months from retail trade seized more than 2,100 packs of illegal tobacco and 164 units of illegal alcohol” – said the head of the Ekaterinburg customs Eugene Gorokhov.

Currently, the illegal distribution of alcohol and tobacco products confiscated. The audit materials submitted to the police for further action.
