Future PR-specialists visited Mineralovodsky customs

February 5, 2020 in Mineralovodsky customs hosted a study tour for students of the Pyatigorsk state University.

For a short period of time, future professionals in public relations have tried to grasp the basics of the profession of customs officer. The first destination was the international airport of Mineral Waters, where the girls got acquainted with work of Department of special customs procedures customs post of Mineralovodsky in the air checkpoint: learned the working principle of the metal detector, inspection instrument “Hiscan”. Then the students were given the opportunity to participate in the procedure of customs inspection of fruits from Azerbaijan, to learn a lot about how to get goods into the region.

During the tour, visited the dog training Department, where the participants of the event demonstrated the work of service dogs for detection in baggage and transport, the so-called “bookmarks” imitators of drugs. Their skills showed Alexei Meleshko and his permanent companion German shepherd Thunder.

The event ended in a press-service. Future PR-specialists learned about the principle of operation of the Department and how we are implementing the programme of forming and maintaining positive image of Mineralovodsky customs. With a lot of impressions and useful information has come to the end of the tour. The students thanked the organizers of the tour for intense positive emotions day and expressed hope that the interaction of Mineralovodsky customs and Pyatigorsk state University in this unusual format will continue in the future.

It should be noted that training tours and admission to the practice of students of higher educational establishments of the region became a good tradition of Mineralovodsky customs. Just 2019, passed the practice 90.
