FCS of Russia informs: customs authorities are working “hot line” to receive calls from authorized economic operators

FCS of Russia informs that as of 1 February 2020 in the customs bodies of work “hot line” to receive calls from authorized economic operators (AEO).

Requests for explanation of information regarding customs operations, representatives of the AEO may direct by phone or e-mail to the customs authority, the area of which coincides with the place of tax registration of the operator. Response to the address sent no later than one business day after receipt of the request on the hotline.

ADDITIONALLY:

“Hot line” was created for informational and consulting support the customs authorities of the AEO.

Information provided to AEO by the “hot line” is not grounds for decision or action (inaction) of customs bodies or officials in the performance of customs operations in respect of goods.
