FCS of Russia: information on the importation of vehicles from the Republic of Armenia

FCS of Russia reminds that the vehicle issued on the territory of the Republic of Armenia after the October 10, 2014, at the rates applicable in the Republic of Armenia (different from customs duties, taxes EAEC), have the status of foreign goods.

Upon payment of the difference of the amounts of customs payments, established in the Eurasian economic Union and the Republic of Armenia, the vehicle having the status of foreign goods acquire the status of goods of the Eurasian economic Union (Union goods).

However, the possibility of temporary importation by persons permanently residing in the Republic of Armenia, cars as foreign goods, registered in the territory of the Republic of Armenia without paying customs duties and taxes and without making the payment of customs duties and taxes on the territory of other member States of the EEU.

The use in the territories of other member States of the EAEU foreign vehicles in other individuals as well as their alienation, transfer to the use, disposal is possible only under condition of their customs declaring in customs authorities and payment of the difference in the amounts of customs duties and taxes.

ADDITIONALLY

The vehicle having the status of foreign goods acquire the status of goods of the Union upon the date January 1, 2023.

REFERENCE

In accordance with the Federal law of the Russian Federation 03.08.2018 No. 283-FZ of the owner of the vehicle must apply to the territorial subdivision of the traffic police of the MIA of Russia for the production of a vehicle on a public record within ten days from the date of acquisition of the rights of the owner of the vehicle, not previously held by the state in the Russian Federation.
