The Chita Customs Office initiated a case on administrative offense under part 1 of article 14.10 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation “Illegal use of someone else’s trademark” against the participant of foreign economic activity. By the decision of the Arbitration Court of Primorsky Krai the penalty for this offense was a fine and confiscation of goods
Acting head of the department of prohibitions, restrictions and commodity nomenclature of Chita Customs Natalia Bukreeva said that customs officers and customs posts take all measures aimed at preventing the importation of counterfeit goods that can harm health, especially children
In the past period of 2024, Chita Customs revealed 47289 units of counterfeit goods. Most of the counterfeit goods are children’s toys, clothes, shoes, paper labels for clothes, emblems for construction tools.
