European cheeses and Ukrainian sausages seized from shops in Rostov-na-Donu

From the beginning of 2020, the Department of customs control after release of goods of the Rostov customs revealed in Rostov-on-don, several cases of the implementation of the sanctions.

So, during check of one of the grocery stores in the city, officials of the Rostov customs, together with the representative of the Rosselkhoznadzor found meat and cheese products with foreign markings. According to the labels on the goods sold cheeses and sausages were produced in Germany and the Netherlands.

Two more cases of trade sanctions products were identified during the joint verification activities Rostov customs, Rostov transport Prosecutor’s office and the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration in the territory of one of Rostov markets. One point was carried out sale of dairy products (cheese) from Italy, the UK, Denmark and Poland. Another buyers offer meat products from Ukraine.

Documents for the acquisition and certification identified cheese and sausage products from entrepreneurs was absent.

In accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of 7 August 2014 No. 778 of agricultural products from Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Ukraine, great Britain, Denmark and Poland relates to goods prohibited for importation into the territory of the Russian Federation.

All illegally traded goods (weighing more than 50 kg) were seized.
