Employees of the Moscow customs revealed the smuggling of cultural property
Metropolitan customs officers revealed the import of cultural goods – furniture, paintings, clocks, vases, etc. using documents containing false information about the goods in an amount exceeding 100 000 rubles, and the address of the inhabitant of the city of Moscow from Belgium.
On this fact the investigation Department of the Moscow customs in relation criminal case on signs of structure of a crime, responsibility for which is provided part 1 of article 226.1 of the criminal code (smuggling of cultural values).
