Customs detained the precious gifts to relatives

224 grams gold ornaments and 64 of the handkerchief was arrested Mineralovodsky customs during the customs clearance of international flights “Istanbul – Grozny”.

In the result of customs inspection of the Luggage of residents of the Chechen Republic identified 14 gold chains, one gold bracelet and 64 of the handkerchief. In his explanation, in the survey at the front Desk of the customs officer, the man reported that he flew to Turkey and brought gifts to relatives jewelry and textiles. However, the number of transported goods and their nature indicated that the products were intended for commercial purposes.

At the moment the goods seized and placed in the storage chamber of the evidence of the Chechen customs post, and a citizen initiated case on administrative offense under part 1 of article 16.2 of the Russian Federation – Declaration in the prescribed form of goods subject to customs Declaration. The offender could face a penalty of one-half to two times the value of the goods which are the subjects of the administrative offence, with their confiscation or without that or confiscation of subjects of an administrative offense.
