Customs control during the period of the world Cup in Alpine skiing

On 27-28 January 2020 to the airport of Sochi there arrived members of the women’s world Cup Alpine skiing – Ski Dream Rosa-2020.

In Sochi airport 4 flight arrived from Bulgaria with athletes, representatives of the International ski Federation. Customs controls were 155 people. Customs operations performed in respect of 1038 pieces of Luggage weighing more than 22 tons. Foreign visitors brought sports uniforms, sports equipment.

Customs post Sochi Airport also carried 3 tons of cargo (equipment for ski slopes) with a value of over 114 thousand euros. Declaration of goods carried out under the simplified scheme placed under the special customs procedure without payment of customs duties, taxes and without applying non-tariff regulation measures.

Customs control and customs operations were carried out as quickly as possible with the requirements and norms of the operating customs legislation. Customs inspection of Luggage held in the Luggage compartment of the international sector of the airport with specialists of cynological Department of customs.

Women’s world Cup Alpine skiing – Ski Dream Rosa-2020 will be held in Sochi from 1 to 2 February.
