CTS: the deadlines for the temporary importation of cars by individuals

The Council of the Eurasian economic Commission extended until September 30, 2020 for individuals, the time location of cars and other vehicles in the customs territory of the EAEU.

Now the citizens who have temporarily imported cars and other vehicles, until September 30, exempted from the obligation of their return export from the EEC. In this case, they will not fall under the administrative actions and payment of customs duties.

The decision on prolongation of the terms taken in connection with the measures taken to combat coronavirus infection in the EAEC, which the citizens cannot perform the duties on the export of vehicles from the territory of the country. The decision applies to cases for which the period of re-exportation occurs from 1 March to 30 September this year.

Also extended until 30 September for 18-month period when possible preferential duty-free entry into the EAEU personal property of foreign citizens with the status of a person who moved for permanent residence, refugee, forced migrant.
