Chita customs opened the temporary storage warehouse in the village of Novaya Chara to the activities of Baikal mining company

With the purpose of temporary storage entering the address of Baikal mining company of goods in 30 km from settlement New Chara of Kalarsky district of Zabaykalsky Krai, Chita customs opened the temporary storage warehouse (TSW) closed.

In the square warehouse (about 26 thousand sq m) can simultaneously accommodate up to 600 containers of goods. To conduct by the officials of the Chita customs customs control on the territory of TSW provides indoor and outdoor screening venues.

TSW has the necessary equipment, which in turn will allow to reduce terms of customs operations and customs control.

Background: In July 2023 in Kalarsky district of Zabaykalsky Krai it is planned commissioning of the Mining and metallurgical combine “hero”, is built on one of the world’s largest copper deposits. The plant will be the most powerful in Russia, and for its construction in the address of Baikal mining company in may of this year will begin to enter the equipment. The equipment will come from 43 countries around the world.

Udokan copper Deposit, located in the Kalarsky district of Zabaykalsky Krai, is today the third largest undeveloped Deposit in the world.
