Chelyabinsk customs officials prevented the export to Kazakhstan more than 1.7 million medical products
Export more than 1.7 million medical devices worth about 3 million rubles in Kazakhstan prevented the Ural customs officers, together with officers of the Border Department of the FSB of Russia in the Chelyabinsk region.
In EN route from Khimki near Moscow the truck, stopped at a check point “Hilly” employees of mobile group of the Chelyabinsk customs found about 4 tons of prohibited export of medical products: 1.5 million pairs of Shoe covers, 3 thousand packs of wool, more than 200 thousand alcohol wipes and disposable diapers, Bandaids, hydrogen peroxide and chlorhexidine solution.
The goods were seized; conducted an administrative investigation under article 16.3 of the administrative code provides for a fine and confiscation of goods.

In Russia there is a temporary ban on the export of certain types of medical devices: bandages, gauze, gloves, cotton wool, masks and filters for them, disinfectant and antiviral agents, Shoe covers, chemical protective suits, respirators, medical gowns, as well as other means of antiviral nature. The ban does not apply to funds for personal use and humanitarian aid.
