Chelyabinsk customs officers prevented smuggling of the forest
The figurant at once two criminal cases became a citizen of Kazakhstan: forest smuggling and the bribery of officials. The attacker caught red-handed.

The timber are strategic resources, illegal movement of which across the state border of the Russian Federation is punishable by law.
For the termination operatively-search actions and the return of the goods, the owner of the contraband forest suggested the customs officer 50 thousand rubles. Of the crime the officer reported to the Department on combating corruption of the customs. The fact of the transfer of funds was recorded.
Two criminal cases: under part 1 of article 226.1 of the criminal code of Russian Federation “Contraband of strategically important resources,” the sanction of article provides imprisonment for the term from three till seven years with a fine, and part 3 of article 291 of the criminal code of Russian Federation “bribery to the official for committing obviously illegal actions” with a sentence of 8 years imprisonment.
