Chelyabinsk customs officers detained the briber

A citizen of Kazakhstan became the figurant of criminal case upon bribery to the official of the Chelyabinsk customs. The attacker caught red-handed.

Employees of Department on counteraction of corruption of the Chelyabinsk customs in conjunction with the FSB of Russia for the Chelyabinsk region suppressed the bribe in the considerable size. The man offered 50 thousand rubles for the chief operatively-search Department of the Chelyabinsk customs for termination of operations and return the vehicle to a forest of conifers.

Recall that the timber are strategic resources and their illegal transfer across the state border of the Russian Federation is punishable by law.

Of the crime the officer reported to the Department on combating corruption of the customs. The fact of the transfer of funds was recorded.

The investigating authorities of the Ural investigatory management on transport of Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation concerning the citizen of Kazakhstan initiated a criminal case under part 3 of article 291 of the criminal code of Russian Federation “bribery to the official for committing obviously illegal actions”, providing punishment till 8 years of imprisonment.

The suspect was taken into custody.
