Chelyabinsk customs officers at the beginning of April have stopped the illegal export of about 11 thousand medical products

Illegal removal of several batches of medical supplies was stopped at the beginning of April 2020 employees of mobile group of the Chelyabinsk customs together with the Border Department of the FSB of Russia in the Chelyabinsk region. Three trucks were discovered 9.5 thousand medical gloves, more than 40 litres of antiseptic, anti-aerosol, more than 1 thousand half masks and regular fabric masks, and other protective equipment.

Medical goods included in the List temporarily limited to the export of productstransported from Yekaterinburg to Almaty (Republic of Kazakhstan) and was detained in a check point “Hilly” (Chelyabinsk region).

The goods seized. Criminal case concerning an administrative offense under article 16.3 of the administrative code. This article provides for imposition of penalty with confiscation of the goods.

Since its introduction in March 2020 temporary restrictions on the export of medical products of the Chelyabinsk customs officers stopped ten attempts of illegal export from Russia a total of about 2 million medical devices worth more than 8 million rubles.
