In an inspection of two retail outlets in the Petushinsky district, Vladimir Customs officers found undocumented goods – 2,244 packages of tobacco products, as well as 77 e-cigarettes.

“For the first time the inspection revealed electronic nicotine delivery systems without documents and QR codes. The packages of tobacco products also lack the mandatory labeling with excise stamps and QR codes. Such goods are prohibited for import and circulation within the country. In total, more than 33 thousand packs of illegal cigarettes have been detected during customs inspections in the Vladimir region since the beginning of 2024”, – said the head of the service of customs control after release of goods of the Vladimir customs Olga Bolshakova

The owners of the tobacco products did not provide documents confirming the origin of the goods. The goods were seized by employees of territorial departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for decision-making in accordance with the law
