A book of extremist content found Rostov customs officers on Board a foreign ship

Officials of the customs office River port of Rostov-on-don, together with staff of the Border Department of the FSB of Russia in the Rostov region revealed the fact of import into Russia of extremist literature

Print edition of “Mein Kampf Main Kampf, Adolf Hitler” with a volume of 704 pages, was discovered by officials of the border patrol and the Department of special customs procedures of the customs office River port of Rostov-on-don Rostov customs during the customs control of the ship, arrived to the don capital from Ukraine.

The book, which is recognized in Russia as extremist literature, was on a wall-mounted bookshelf in the cabin crew member – citizen of Ukraine born in 2001.

In accordance with the legislation of the EEU printed and audiovisual materials containing calls for extremist and terrorist activities or public justification of terrorism, forbidden to move across the customs territory of the Eurasian economic Union.

On this fact initiated two cases of administrative offenses under part 1 of article 16.2 of the administrative code (failure to declare) and article 16.3 of the administrative code (violation of the prohibitions and restrictions).

The head of the customs office River port of Rostov-on-don Victor Kirdeev explained that the list of banned extremist materials is constantly updated based on the decisions of the courts. According to section 604 of the Federal list of extremist materials, the decision of the Kirov district court of Ufa from 24.03.2010 years this book has been recognized as extremist literature.
