43 thousand square meters of fabric was detained Nakhodka customs

43 thousand sqm of the textile fabric was detained Nakhodka customs. The recipient of the goods is not declared fabric in its import to Russia.

Container with fabric for curtains, cushion covers, bedspreads was brought into the port of Eastern China. The representative of the recipient – Vladivostok, the company submitted in the customs Declaration on the import of 36 thousand sq meters of fabric. However, inspection of Nakhodka customs officers found another 43 thousand square meters of fabric that are not specified in the Declaration.

In relation to the company from Vladivostok to the Nakhodka customs has opened a case on an administrative offense under part 1 of article 16.2 of the administrative code (failure to declare), which provides for a fine and possible confiscation of goods.
