35.5 billion rubles have been transferred to the budget through customs control after the release of goods since the beginning of the year.
The total amount transferred to the budget through customs control after the release of goods as a result of verification activities for almost 9 months amounted to 35.5 billion rubles. This is 76% higher than the same period last year. Since the beginning of the year, each post-control inspector has contributed 60 million rubles to the budget. 613 tons of goods have been seized from the illegal circulation of sellers of poor quality and dangerous goods imported using criminal schemes.
At the annual All-Russian seminar of heads of customs control units after the release of goods, held at the Federal Customs Service of Russia, the head of the Main Department of Customs Control after the Release of Goods, Sergey Semashko, noted the significant contribution of post-control units to the replenishment of the budget of the Russian Federation and thanked officials for their diligent and responsible work. During the seminar, acute issues in verification activities were also highlighted, which require prompt solutions. The main tasks at the moment are to improve the accuracy and quality of inspections, actively work with the business community to prevent violations, suppress the illegal circulation of goods, and digitize the work of mobile groups.
As a result of the event, honorary certificates and thanks were awarded to the inspecting inspectors of the Kursk, Omsk, and North-West Customs Control Departments for their impeccable performance of official duties.
