Russia and China will cooperate in the field of customs intellectualization

on December 19 in Beijing in the framework of the 28th regular meeting of the heads of government of Russia and China signed a Memorandum between the FCS of Russia and the State Customs Service of the People’s Republic of China on cooperation in the field of intellectualization of customs authorities.
The document was prepared taking into account the activities currently underway in both countries to create «smart», saturated with artificial intelligence customs service. In the presence of the Prime Ministers of the two countries Mikhail Mishustin and Li Qiang it was signed by Ruslan Davydov, Deputy Head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, and Yu Jianhua, Head of the State Customs Service of the People’s Republic of China.
The focus of attention of customs officers – introduction of the latest technologies, automation and informatization of administration.
The key objective – to unite the efforts of the customs services of the two countries to accelerate customs clearance and control of goods and vehicles moving both in mutual trade and in transit.
