Public reception of Public Council at the Federal customs service of Russia is open to entrepreneurs of the Far East

July 2, 2020 in Vladivostok, the opening of Russia’s first public reception of Public Council at the Federal customs service of Russia. Reception address: Vladivostok, Tolstogo str. 32A, office 512.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Public Council of the FTS of Russia Leonid Arkadievich Lozbenko, representatives of the far Eastern customs administration, the Government of Primorsky Krai, Ministry of development Corporation, Far East, non-profit organizations and the business community Primorye.

According to Leonid Lozbenko, taking into account the strategic challenges facing the Federal customs service, the main goal of the Public Council to help correct the position of the customs service in system of the government institutions by ensuring a constructive dialogue between customs and business, as well as implementation of public control over the work of the customs authorities.

Among the most significant achievements of the Public Council at the Federal customs service of Russia participants of the meeting noted the establishment of the Charter of bona fide participants of foreign economic activity (FEA). Traders who are signatories to the Charter have agreed to establish a bona fide forms of its activities in the international market, thereby ensuring a favourable business environment. To date the Charter was signed more than three thousand Russian and foreign companies doing business in the field of foreign trade.

The public Council is intended to exercise public control over the activities of the FCS of Russia, including consideration of socially significant projects developed normative legal acts, participation in monitoring quality of public services, the implementation of control functions, review annual plans of activities of FCS of Russia and report on their performance, as well as other issues stipulated by the legislation of the Russian Federation.
